Exterior Design: Sensuous Sportiness Defined in a Four-Door-Coupe SilhouetteInspired by the dramatic Le Fil Rouge four-door-coupe concept shown at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, the new-generation Sonata has an emotional, sporty four-door coupe look with a spacious and technology-packed interior. The exterior exhibits performance-led proportions that reference the car’s step up in sportiness over that of its predecessor.

Each luminaire was broken down to its component parts confirming quantity, dimension, weight/mass and construction. A report of each luminaire was issued to an independent assessment company along with the completed manufacturing drawings and exploded views for analysis for LU 1-085. As all luminaires were bespoke we had to have independent photometry tests completed to provide evidence that our predicted luminaire performance was true and reliable data prior to manufacture. We manufactured numerous samples of each fixture for close scrutiny by Crossrail and their design team as well as performing heat tests on the products that included extensive soak test periods.

I had an experience at a denominational conference that brought this truth home to me. During the session at which I was to speak, a very capable ladies trio sang. Smart switches, on the other hand, are far more complicated to install—to the point where some users might be uncomfortable dealing with exposed wiring and would prefer to hire an electrician. Smart switches, however, provide more flexibility in many installations.

The real point of the “cartel” was, that the industry was going down the drain because it was a race to the bottom.
